Before I visited Austro/American friends I drove up to the ‘Hollywood Sign’. On the way to Culver City, where my friends live, I stopped at the Sunset Strip to see the area during daylight. It was pretty empty on this Sunday morning. I guess everybody is curing their hangover.
Nanni and Fifi prepared a delicious brunch, actually more like breakfast, lunch and dinner. With good food and chitchat time flew by quickly. I left for San Diego around 2:30.
Rather than taking the interstate I drove down along the Pacific Highway (US 1). I guess it takes twice the time on the Pacific Highway, but it is 100 times the pleasure: 120 miles of prime real estate.
